Media Breed Bias Incident Report
Each day, the media reports on dog or animal-related stories that are filled with misinformation or factual errors that perpetuate undeserved and negative sterotypes of dogs, other animals, and their owners.
You can help set the record straight by helping to track biased reporting on dog or pet-related stories. Your submissions will help us educate the media to report responsibly on animal-related news.
Please submit any and all stories having to do with any breed of dog, from any media source, as well as stories that pertain to animal-related legislation.
Thank you for helping with this project!

Neither the CDC nor the AVMA findings support breed discrimination. Their report states that the breeds of dogs listed in the study are based only on the eyewitness identification by dog bite victims, who often incorrectly identify the breed of dog, and any findings should NOT be used to support banning specific breeds of dogs.

Please list name of study, year and study author/sponsor. Do not include the CDC or AVMA reports or studies, as these studies do not mention any findings regarding tethering.

Thank you for helping to track how dog and other animal-related stories are reported in the media. Your submissions will help educate the press, politicians and the public about breed discrimination, and help make sure that dogs and their owners are judged according to deed and not breed.
